(AP) — The Obama administration is getting questions about whether it cut corners on security testing while rushing to meet a deadline to launch the HealthCare.gov website.

The part of the site that consumers interact with directly had only a temporary security certification because it hadn't been fully tested before the Oct. 1 launch.

It's also the part of the system that stores personal information.

The administration insists the website is secure, but technicians had to scramble to make a fix earlier this week after a North Carolina man tried to log himself on and got a South Carolina man's personal information.

Two computer security experts interviewed by The Associated Press say clearly the better option would have been to complete testing before going live.
